Dinkly respects the privacy of its users, particularly their rights regarding the automated processing of personal data. To ensure full transparency with our users, we have implemented a policy concerning data processing, its purposes, and the options available for individuals to exercise their rights as effectively as possible.

By installing and using the Dinkly app, you accept this privacy statement and its terms of use. The version of the privacy policy available in the app is the only one applicable as long as you use the app, until a new version replaces it.

Article 2 – Use of the App
Use of the app is strictly personal. You shall not use the app or the information contained therein for commercial, political, or advertising purposes, nor for unsolicited electronic offers.
Article 3 – Content of the App
All trademarks, logos, texts, illustrations, sounds, images, and technical components used in the app are protected by intellectual property rights. Any reproduction, modification, or reuse without prior written permission from Ster Software b.v. is strictly prohibited.
Article 4 – Management of the App
Ster Software b.v. may, at any time:

restrict or temporarily suspend access to (parts of) the app, for maintenance or updates;

remove any content that may interfere with the proper functioning of the app or violate applicable laws.
Article 5 – Responsibilities
Ster Software b.v. cannot be held liable for malfunctions or interruptions of the app or their consequences.
Users are responsible for protecting their own devices and data.
Ster Software b.v. is not liable for damages resulting from the use of the app or for any legal actions arising from such use.
Article 6 – Data Collection
Personal data are collected by Ster Software b.v.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Collected data are used solely to ensure the proper functioning of the app, communication with users, and – where applicable – the performance of agreements.
All user data collected through the Dinkly app is securely stored on servers located in the United States of America (USA).
Ster Software b.v. ensures that appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to protect this data and that the data transfer complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Article 7 – User Rights
Under the GDPR, every user has the right to access, correct, delete, and transfer their personal data, as well as the right to object to processing.
You can exercise these rights by contacting support@stersoftware.com.
Requests must be accompanied by a copy of a valid ID (with photo and citizen service number redacted). A response will be provided within one month.
Article 8 – Disclosure to Authorities
If required by law, Ster Software b.v. may disclose personal data to competent authorities upon an explicit and justified request.
Article 9 – Commercial Communication
Dinkly may send you commercial messages about its services. If you no longer wish to receive them, you may unsubscribe by sending an email to privacy@dinkly.app.
Article 10 – Data Retention
Personal data are not retained longer than legally permitted or necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
Article 11 – Cookies and Tracking
Dinkly does not use cookies. Should analytical or tracking technologies be implemented in the future, explicit user consent will be requested beforehand.
Article 12 – Visual Material and Content
No rights can be derived from any images or screenshots displayed in the app.
Article 13 – Applicable Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the court in the district where Ster Software b.v. is established.
